Computer Engineering is the 60th most popular major in the country with 16,932 degrees awarded in 2019-2020. In 2017-2018, computer engineering graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $68,762 and had an average of $25,829 in loans still to pay off.
Across Texas, there were 1,133 computer engineering graduates with average earnings and debt of $58,467 and $25,756 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 720 computer engineering graduates with average earnings and debt of $0 and $0 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value CE Schools for a Bachelor’s in Texas” ranking analyzed 13 colleges that offered a degree in computer engineering. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent computer engineering programs, but they also cost less that schools of similar quality.
