You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of New Mexico - Main Campus. It ranked #1 on our 2022 Best Value Engineering Schools for a Doctorate in New Mexico list. Located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, this large public school handed out 33 diplomas to qualified doctorate’s engineering students in 2019-2020.

UNM also made our “Best General Engineering Doctor’s Degree Schools in New Mexico” list, coming in at #1. Although you might pay more or less depending on your area of study, average graduate tuition and fees at UNM are $19,890.

You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend New Mexico State University - Main Campus. The school came in at #2 for the Best Value Engineering Schools for a Doctorate in New Mexico. This fairly large school is located in Las Cruces, New Mexico, and it awarded 14 doctorate’s engineering degrees in 2019-2020.

NMSU Main Campus also made our “Best General Engineering Doctor’s Degree Schools in New Mexico” list, coming in at #2. Although you might pay more or less depending on your area of study, average graduate tuition and fees at NMSU Main Campus are $18,275.
