Edwardsville, Illinois is the setting for this fairly large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out doctorate’s dentistry degrees to 56 students in 2019-2020.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Marquette University. It ranked #2 on our 2022 Best Value Dentistry Schools for a Doctorate in the Great Lakes Region list. This fairly large school is located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and it awarded 93 doctorate’s dentistry degrees in 2019-2020.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of Detroit Mercy. It ranked #3 on our 2022 Best Value Dentistry Schools for a Doctorate in the Great Lakes Region list. Located in Detroit, Michigan, this small private not-for-profit school handed out 134 degrees to qualified doctorate’s dentistry students in 2019-2020.
In addition to being on our great lakes region doctor’s degree dentistry students list, Detroit Mercy has also earned the #7 rank in our “Best Dentistry Doctor’s Degree Schools in the Great Lakes Region” ranking. Although you might pay more or less depending on your area of study, average graduate tuition and fees at University of Detroit Mercy are $20,047.
You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend Indiana University - Purdue University - Indianapolis. The school came in at #4 for the Best Value Dentistry Schools for a Doctorate in the Great Lakes Region. Located in Indianapolis, Indiana, this large public school handed out 122 diplomas to qualified doctorate’s dentistry students in 2019-2020.
As a testament to the quality of education offered at IUPUI, the school also landed the #8 spot in our “Best Dentistry Doctor’s Degree Schools in the Great Lakes Region” ranking. Average graduate tuition and fees at Indiana University - Purdue University - Indianapolis are $26,013, but you may pay more or less depending on your major.
You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend University of Illinois at Chicago. The school came in at #5 for the Best Value Dentistry Schools for a Doctorate in the Great Lakes Region. Located in Chicago, Illinois, this large public school awarded 114 diplomas to qualified doctorate’s dentistry students in 2019-2020.
UIC not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #6 on our “Best Dentistry Doctor’s Degree Schools in the Great Lakes Region” list. Average graduate tuition and fees at UIC are $27,036, but some majors have different tuition rates.

With a ranking of #6, Ohio State University - Main Campus did quite well on the 2022 Best Value Dentistry Schools for a Doctorate in the Great Lakes Region list. This large school is located in Columbus, Ohio, and it awarded 115 doctorate’s dentistry degrees in 2019-2020.
Ohio State also took the #5 spot in our “Best Dentistry Doctor’s Degree Schools in the Great Lakes Region” ranking. Average graduate tuition and fees at Ohio State are $37,141, but you may pay more or less depending on your major.

Midwestern University - Downers Grove came in at #7 in this year’s edition of the Best Value Dentistry Schools for a Doctorate in the Great Lakes Region ranking. This small school is located in Downers Grove, Illinois, and it awarded 132 doctorate’s dentistry degrees in 2019-2020.
Midwestern University - Downers Grove did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #2 on our “Best Dentistry Doctor’s Degree Schools in the Great Lakes Region” list. Average graduate tuition and fees at Midwestern University - Downers Grove are $45,511, but you may pay more or less depending on your major.
University of Michigan - Ann Arbor did quite well in the 2022 Best Value Dentistry Schools for a Doctorate in the Great Lakes Region ranking, coming in at #8. U-M is a large public school situated in Ann Arbor, Michigan. It awarded 131 doctorate’s dentistry degrees in 2019-2020.
