2022 Best Value Doctor’s Degree Colleges for Dentistry in the Southwest Region

In 2019-2020, 6,614 people earned their degree in dentistry, making the major the 108th most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, dentistry graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $98,613 and had an average of $247,099 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Southwest region, there were 512 dentistry graduates with average earnings and debt of $103,840 and $194,398 respectively. At the doctor’s degree level specifically, there were 512 dentistry graduates with average earnings and debt of $71,970 and $95,025 respectively.
For this year’s “Best Value Dentistry Schools for a Doctorate in the Southwest Region” ranking, we looked at 5 colleges that offer a degree in dentistry. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great dentistry programs and cost less that schools of similar quality.
