Across the Southwest region, there were 39,179 nursing graduates with average earnings and debt of $66,645 and $23,719 respectively. At the doctor’s degree level specifically, there were 1,002 nursing graduates with average earnings and debt of $71,970 and $95,025 respectively.

This year’s “Best Value Nursing Schools for a Doctorate in the Southwest Region” ranking analyzed 25 colleges that offered a degree in nursing. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great nursing programs and cost less that schools of similar quality.
