2022 Best Value Math Schools for a Bachelor’s in the Far Western US Region
When it comes to choosing a college, students have a lot of options - but not all of them are good. College Factual has developed its “Best Value Math Schools for a Bachelor’s in the Far Western US Region” ranking as one item you can use to help make this decision.
Mathematics is the 32nd most popular major in the country with 31,080 degrees awarded in 2019-2020. In 2017-2018, mathematics graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $44,066 and had an average of $21,378 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Far Western US region, there were 8,311 mathematics graduates with average earnings and debt of $38,150 and $18,283 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 3,659 mathematics graduates with average earnings and debt of $38,083 and $22,209 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value Math Schools for a Bachelor’s in the Far Western US Region” ranking analyzed 50 colleges that offered a degree in mathematics. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent mathematics programs, but they also cost less that schools of similar quality.
