2022 Best Value HVACR Schools for an Associate in the Southwest Region For Those Getting Aid

Our “Best Value HVACR Schools for an Associate in the Southwest Region For Those Getting Aid” ranking is part of that endeavor.
In 2019-2020, 19,871 people earned their degree in heating, air conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration maintenance technology/technician, making the major the 275th most popular in the United States.
Across the Southwest region, there were 2,703 heating, air conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration maintenance technology/technician graduates with average earnings and debt of $0 and $0 respectively. At the associate degree level specifically, there were 220 heating, air conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration maintenance technology/technician graduates with average earnings and debt of $33,605 and $16,886 respectively.

Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent heating, air conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration maintenance technology/technician programs, but they also cost less that schools of similar quality.
To come up with these rankings, we looked at factors such as the cost to attend the school after aid is awarded and overall quality of the heating, air conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration maintenance technology/technician program at the school. OSU Institute of Technology is a small school located in Okmulgee, Oklahoma that handed out 29 associates’s HVACR degrees in 2019-2020.
