2022 Best Value Master’s Degree Colleges for Science, Technology & Society in the Middle Atlantic Region

In 2019-2020, 1,072 people earned their degree in science, technology and society, making the major the 225th most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, science, technology and society graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $52,000 and had an average of $27,321 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Middle Atlantic region, there were 469 science, technology and society graduates with average earnings and debt of $53,467 and $41,850 respectively. At the master’s degree level specifically, there were 70 science, technology and society graduates with average earnings and debt of $60,887 and $46,998 respectively.
For this year’s “Best Value Science, Tech & Society Schools for a Master’s in the Middle Atlantic Region” ranking, we looked at 3 colleges that offer a degree in science, technology and society. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great science, technology and society programs and cost less that schools of similar quality.

The school came in at #1 for the Best Value Science, Tech & Society Schools for a Master’s in the Middle Atlantic Region. Located in Ithaca, New York, this large private not-for-profit school awarded 4 diplomas to qualified masters’s science, tech and society students in 2019-2020.
Cornell also took the #2 spot in our “Best Science, Technology & Society Master’s Degree Schools in the Middle Atlantic Region” ranking. Average graduate tuition and fees at Cornell University are $30,042, but some majors have different tuition rates.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Drexel University. It ranked #2 on our 2022 Best Value Science, Tech & Society Schools for a Master’s in the Middle Atlantic Region list. Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The private not-for-profit school handed out masters’s science, tech and society degrees to 3 students in 2019-2020.
Drexel also made our “Best Science, Technology & Society Master’s Degree Schools in the Middle Atlantic Region” list, coming in at #3. Although you might pay more or less depending on your area of study, average graduate tuition and fees at Drexel University are $37,074.

The school came in at #3 for the Best Value Science, Tech & Society Schools for a Master’s in the Middle Atlantic Region. Georgetown is located in Washington, District of Columbia and, has a fairly large student population.
