2022 Best Value Colleges for Philosophy in the Southwest Region (With Aid)

Philosophy is the 81st most popular major in the country with 10,015 degrees awarded in 2019-2020. In 2017-2018, philosophy graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $29,067 and had an average of $22,199 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Southwest region, there were 716 philosophy graduates with average earnings and debt of $30,320 and $19,961 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value Philosophy Schools in the Southwest Region For Those Getting Aid” ranking looked at 13 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in philosophy. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great philosophy programs and cost less that schools of similar quality.
