This fairly large school is located in Big Rapids, Michigan, and it awarded 2 bachelors’s product design degrees in 2019-2020.
Ferris not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #12 on our “Best Industrial Design Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Great Lakes Region” list. The yearly cost to attend Ferris is $12,889 for Great Lakes Region Bachelor’s Degree Product Design students.
Out of the 12 schools in the Best Value Product Design Schools for a Bachelor’s in the Great Lakes Region that were part of this year’s ranking, University of Cincinnati - Main Campus landed the #3 spot on the list. Cincinnati, Ohio is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out bachelors’s product design degrees to 71 students in 2019-2020.

Purdue is a large school located in West Lafayette, Indiana that handed out 14 bachelors’s product design degrees in 2019-2020.

University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign ranked #7 on this year’s Best Value Product Design Schools for a Bachelor’s in the Great Lakes Region list. University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is a large public school situated in Champaign, Illinois. It awarded 52 bachelors’s product design degrees in 2019-2020.
UIUC not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #1 on our “Best Industrial Design Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Great Lakes Region” list. It costs about $15,880 for great lakes region bachelor’s degree product design students per year to attend UIUC.

Columbus College of Art and Design landed the #11 spot on the 2022 Best Value Product Design Schools for a Bachelor’s in the Great Lakes Region ranking. CCAD is located in Columbus, Ohio and, has a small student population. In 2019-2020, this school awarded 10 bachelors’s product design degrees to qualified students.
CCAD also made our “Best Industrial Design Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Great Lakes Region” list, coming in at #11. The estimated yearly cost for CCAD is $27,299 for Great Lakes Region Bachelor’s Degree Product Design students.
The impressive student-to-faculty ratio of 10 to 1 means that students may have more opportunities to work more closely with their professors than they would at other schools.
College for Creative Studies came in at #12 in this year’s edition of the Best Value Product Design Schools for a Bachelor’s in the Great Lakes Region ranking. This small school is located in Detroit, Michigan, and it awarded 67 bachelors’s product design degrees in 2019-2020.
CCS also took the #2 spot in our “Best Industrial Design Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Great Lakes Region” ranking. The estimated yearly cost for CCS is $37,745 for Great Lakes Region Bachelor’s Degree Product Design students.
The student-to-faculty ratio of 10 to 1 is a sign that students will have more opportunities to engage with their professors one-on-one.
