University of Colorado at Colorado Springs earned the #2 spot in our 2021 rankings. UCCS is a fairly large public school located in the large city of Colorado Springs. As a testament to the quality of education offered at UCCS, the school also landed the #9 rank in our Best Colleges for History in the Rocky Mountains Region ranking.

The school has a low student loan default rate of 1.4%. Approximately 4,485 students take at least one class online at UCCS. There are roughly 4,071 part time students in attendance at UCCS.

University of Northern Colorado comes in at #3 in this year's ranking. University of Northern Colorado is a moderately-sized public school located in the midsize city of Greeley.
