2022 Best Value Bachelor’s Degree Colleges for General Architecture in the Southeast Region

In 2019-2020, 5,051 people earned their degree in general architecture, making the major the 111th most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, general architecture graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $46,998 and had an average of $41,356 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Southeast region, there were 1,129 general architecture graduates with average earnings and debt of $45,924 and $36,477 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 780 general architecture graduates with average earnings and debt of $36,277 and $25,415 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value Architecture Schools for a Bachelor’s in the Southeast Region” ranking looked at 17 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in general architecture. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality general architecture programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.
When determining these rankings, we looked at things such as overall quality of the general architecture program at the school and the cost to attend the school once aid has been awarded. See our ranking methodology to learn more.
