In 2019-2020, 17,480 people earned their degree in architecture and related services, making the major the 28th most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, architecture and related services graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $47,294 and had an average of $39,729 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Southeast region, there were 2,951 architecture and related services graduates with average earnings and debt of $46,739 and $35,504 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 1,542 architecture and related services graduates with average earnings and debt of $36,277 and $25,415 respectively.

For this year’s “Best Value Architecture & Related Services Schools for a Bachelor’s in the Southeast Region” ranking, we looked at 24 colleges that offer a degree in architecture and related services. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent architecture and related services programs, but they also cost less that schools of similar quality.
