2022 Best Value Physiology Schools for a Doctorate in the Middle Atlantic Region

In 2019-2020, 8,385 people earned their degree in physiology and pathology sciences, making the major the 93rd most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, physiology and pathology sciences graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $32,215 and had an average of $29,778 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Middle Atlantic region, there were 870 physiology and pathology sciences graduates with average earnings and debt of $34,167 and $28,183 respectively. At the doctor’s degree level specifically, there were 116 physiology and pathology sciences graduates with average earnings and debt of $73,944 and $116,843 respectively.
For this year’s “Best Value Physiology Schools for a Doctorate in the Middle Atlantic Region” ranking, we looked at 13 colleges that offer a degree in physiology and pathology sciences. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality physiology and pathology sciences programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.
