2022 Best Value Entrepreneurship Schools for a Master’s in the Southwest Region

Entrepreneurial Studies is the 117th most popular major in the country with 11,008 degrees awarded in 2019-2020. In 2017-2018, entrepreneurial studies graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $42,665 and had an average of $25,440 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Southwest region, there were 1,094 entrepreneurial studies graduates with average earnings and debt of $47,914 and $31,273 respectively. At the master’s degree level specifically, there were 163 entrepreneurial studies graduates with average earnings and debt of $53,078 and $37,227 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value Entrepreneurship Schools for a Master’s in the Southwest Region” ranking looked at 8 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in entrepreneurial studies. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality entrepreneurial studies programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.

University of Houston - Victoria came in at #7 in this year’s edition of the Best Value Entrepreneurship Schools for a Master’s in the Southwest Region ranking. Located in Victoria, Texas, this small public school handed out 5 degrees to qualified masters’s entrepreneurship students in 2019-2020.
UH Victoria also made our “Best Entrepreneurial Studies Master’s Degree Schools in the Southwest Region” list, coming in at #8. Although you might pay more or less depending on your area of study, average graduate tuition and fees at UH Victoria are $15,466.

Southern Methodist University ranked #8 on this year’s Best Value Entrepreneurship Schools for a Master’s in the Southwest Region list. SMU is a fairly large private not-for-profit school situated in Dallas, Texas. It awarded 64 masters’s entrepreneurship degrees in 2019-2020.
