In 2019-2020, 57,893 people earned their degree in finance and financial management, making the major the 14th most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, finance and financial management graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $51,578 and had an average of $26,517 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Plains States region, there were 4,711 finance and financial management graduates with average earnings and debt of $48,629 and $28,359 respectively. At the master’s degree level specifically, there were 424 finance and financial management graduates with average earnings and debt of $53,438 and $39,783 respectively.

Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent finance and financial management programs, but they also cost less that schools of similar quality.
