In 2019-2020, 57,893 people earned their degree in finance and financial management, making the major the 14th most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, finance and financial management graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $51,578 and had an average of $26,517 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Southeast region, there were 13,174 finance and financial management graduates with average earnings and debt of $46,982 and $25,351 respectively. At the master’s degree level specifically, there were 577 finance and financial management graduates with average earnings and debt of $53,950 and $43,286 respectively.

This year’s “Best Value Finance Schools for a Master’s in the Southeast Region” ranking looked at 21 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in finance and financial management. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent finance and financial management programs, but they also cost less that schools of similar quality.

When determining these rankings, we looked at things such as overall quality of the finance and financial management program at the school and the cost to attend the school once aid has been awarded. For more information, check out our ranking methodology.
