In 2017-2018, computer science graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $66,561 and had an average of $23,565 in loans still to pay off.

Across Minnesota, there were 1,242 computer science graduates with average earnings and debt of $63,960 and $20,253 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 1,010 computer science graduates with average earnings and debt of $40,526 and $26,035 respectively.

This year’s “Best Value CompSci Schools for a Bachelor’s in Minnesota” ranking looked at 17 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in computer science. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent computer science programs, but they also cost less that schools of similar quality.
