2022 Best Value IT Schools for a Doctorate in the Plains States Region

Information Technology is the 46th most popular major in the country with 38,958 degrees awarded in 2019-2020. In 2017-2018, information technology graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $39,044 and had an average of $25,781 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Plains States region, there were 2,326 information technology graduates with average earnings and debt of $39,582 and $30,582 respectively. At the doctor’s degree level specifically, there were 73 information technology graduates with average earnings and debt of $72,701 and $106,703 respectively.

Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent information technology programs, but they also cost less that schools of similar quality.
