2022 Best Value EE Schools for a Master’s in the Great Lakes Region

In 2019-2020, 29,892 people earned their degree in electrical engineering, making the major the 26th most popular in the United States.
Across the Great Lakes region, there were 4,926 electrical engineering graduates with average earnings and debt of $0 and $0 respectively. At the master’s degree level specifically, there were 1,505 electrical engineering graduates with average earnings and debt of $57,039 and $42,488 respectively.
For this year’s “Best Value EE Schools for a Master’s in the Great Lakes Region” ranking, we looked at 28 colleges that offer a degree in electrical engineering. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent electrical engineering programs, but they also cost less that schools of similar quality.

Out of the 28 schools in the Best Value EE Schools for a Master’s in the Great Lakes Region that were part of this year’s ranking, University of Dayton landed the #3 spot on the list. University of Dayton is a fairly large private not-for-profit school situated in Dayton, Ohio. It awarded 27 masters’s EE degrees in 2019-2020.
