2022 Best Value Doctor’s Degree Colleges for Electrical Engineering in Colorado

Electrical Engineering is the 31st most popular major in the country with 30,670 degrees awarded in 2019-2020. In 2017-2018, electrical engineering graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $70,098 and had an average of $23,581 in loans still to pay off.
Across Colorado, there were 567 electrical engineering graduates with average earnings and debt of $67,580 and $25,962 respectively. At the doctor’s degree level specifically, there were 52 electrical engineering graduates with average earnings and debt of $77,513 and $111,874 respectively.

The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great electrical engineering programs and cost less that schools of similar quality.

Colorado State University - Fort Collins is located in Fort Collins, Colorado and, has a large student population. In 2019-2020, this school awarded 14 doctorate’s EE degrees to qualified students.

CU - Boulder did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #2 on our “Best Electrical Engineering Doctor’s Degree Schools in Colorado” list. Average graduate tuition and fees at CU - Boulder are $32,980, but you may pay more or less depending on your major.
You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend Colorado School of Mines. The school came in at #3 for the Best Value EE Schools for a Doctorate in Colorado. Golden, Colorado is the setting for this medium-sized institution of higher learning. The public school handed out doctorate’s EE degrees to 10 students in 2019-2020.
