2022 Best Value Bachelor’s Degree Colleges for General English Literature in the Rocky Mountains Region

General English Literature is the 22nd most popular major in the country with 41,945 degrees awarded in 2019-2020. In 2017-2018, general English literature graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $27,525 and had an average of $23,628 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Rocky Mountains region, there were 1,827 general English literature graduates with average earnings and debt of $27,173 and $22,692 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 1,531 general English literature graduates with average earnings and debt of $38,111 and $23,874 respectively.
For this year’s “Best Value English Schools for a Bachelor’s in the Rocky Mountains Region” ranking, we looked at 29 colleges that offer a degree in general English literature. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great general English literature programs and cost less that schools of similar quality.
