In 2019-2020, 934,088 health professions students received their degree, making the major the 2nd most popular in the country. In 2017-2018, health professions graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $44,506 and had an average of $32,284 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Southeast region, there were 236,598 health professions graduates with average earnings and debt of $42,185 and $32,303 respectively. At the master’s degree level specifically, there were 29,724 health professions graduates with average earnings and debt of $53,950 and $43,286 respectively.

This ranking identifies schools with high-quality health professions programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.
