2022 Best Value Bachelor’s Degree Colleges for Sustainability Science in the Middle Atlantic Region

In 2019-2020, 2,645 people earned their degree in sustainability science, making the major the 190th most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, sustainability science graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $42,011 and had an average of $27,458 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Middle Atlantic region, there were 572 sustainability science graduates with average earnings and debt of $53,467 and $39,485 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 189 sustainability science graduates with average earnings and debt of $39,278 and $24,587 respectively.
For this year’s “Best Value Sustainability Science Schools for a Bachelor’s in the Middle Atlantic Region” ranking, we looked at 9 colleges that offer a degree in sustainability science. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent sustainability science programs, but they also cost less that schools of similar quality.
