Biblical Studies is the 141st most popular major in the country with 4,250 degrees awarded in 2019-2020. In 2017-2018, Biblical studies graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $27,768 and had an average of $24,104 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Southeast region, there were 1,382 Biblical studies graduates with average earnings and debt of $25,669 and $24,816 respectively. At the master’s degree level specifically, there were 165 Biblical studies graduates with average earnings and debt of $53,950 and $43,286 respectively.

This year’s “Best Value Bible Schools for a Master’s in the Southeast Region” ranking analyzed 10 colleges that offered a degree in Biblical studies. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality Biblical studies programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.
