In 2019-2020, 17,036 people earned their degree in radio, television and digital communication, making the major the 71st most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, radio, television and digital communication graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $27,530 and had an average of $23,273 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Southeast region, there were 3,702 radio, television and digital communication graduates with average earnings and debt of $30,321 and $25,038 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 2,807 radio, television and digital communication graduates with average earnings and debt of $36,277 and $25,415 respectively.
