Instructional Media Design is the 113th most popular major in the country with 7,710 degrees awarded in 2019-2020. In 2017-2018, instructional media design graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $52,602 and had an average of $31,700 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Middle Atlantic region, there were 1,054 instructional media design graduates with average earnings and debt of $54,167 and $27,886 respectively. At the master’s degree level specifically, there were 915 instructional media design graduates with average earnings and debt of $60,887 and $46,998 respectively.

This ranking identifies schools with high-quality instructional media design programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.
