2022 Best Value Education Schools for a Master’s in the Middle Atlantic Region

In 2019-2020, 29,936 people earned their degree in general education, making the major the 35th most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, general education graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $47,138 and had an average of $29,674 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Middle Atlantic region, there were 3,978 general education graduates with average earnings and debt of $44,880 and $28,188 respectively. At the master’s degree level specifically, there were 2,631 general education graduates with average earnings and debt of $60,887 and $46,998 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value Education Schools for a Master’s in the Middle Atlantic Region” ranking looked at 45 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in general education. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent general education programs, but they also cost less that schools of similar quality.
