2022 Best Value Master’s Degree Colleges for Computer Engineering in the New England Region

Computer Engineering is the 60th most popular major in the country with 16,932 degrees awarded in 2019-2020. In 2017-2018, computer engineering graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $68,762 and had an average of $25,829 in loans still to pay off.
Across the New England region, there were 1,552 computer engineering graduates with average earnings and debt of $78,117 and $26,362 respectively. At the master’s degree level specifically, there were 879 computer engineering graduates with average earnings and debt of $58,606 and $42,101 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value CE Schools for a Master’s in the New England Region” ranking analyzed 11 colleges that offered a degree in computer engineering. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality computer engineering programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.

Located in Fairfield, Connecticut, this medium-sized private not-for-profit school handed out 28 diplomas to qualified masters’s CE students in 2019-2020.

University of Connecticut came in at #7 in this year’s edition of the Best Value CE Schools for a Master’s in the New England Region ranking. UCONN is a public institution located in Storrs, Connecticut. The school has a large population, and it awarded 14 masters’s degrees in 2019-2020.

Northeastern University Professional Advancement Network ranked #8 on this year’s Best Value CE Schools for a Master’s in the New England Region list. Boston, Massachusetts is the setting for this fairly large institution of higher learning. The private not-for-profit school handed out masters’s CE degrees to 111 students in 2019-2020.
