Electrical Engineering is the 31st most popular major in the country with 30,670 degrees awarded in 2019-2020. In 2017-2018, electrical engineering graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $70,098 and had an average of $23,581 in loans still to pay off.
Across Pennsylvania, there were 1,326 electrical engineering graduates with average earnings and debt of $73,313 and $27,208 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 582 electrical engineering graduates with average earnings and debt of $0 and $0 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value EE Schools for a Bachelor’s in Pennsylvania For Those Making $0-$30k” ranking looked at 15 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in electrical engineering. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great electrical engineering programs and cost less that schools of similar quality.
