You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend University of Rhode Island. The school came in at #1 for the Best Value EE Schools in Rhode Island For Those Making $0-$30k. Located in Kingston, Rhode Island, this fairly large public school awarded 52 degrees to qualified ’s EE students in 2019-2020.

URI did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #1 on our “Best Electrical Engineering Schools in Rhode Island” list. The estimated yearly cost for URI is $14,309 for Rhode Island EE students whose families make $0-$30k.

Students who start out at the school are likely to stick around. The freshman retention rate is 85%.
