In 2017-2018, electrical engineering graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $70,098 and had an average of $23,581 in loans still to pay off.

Across New York, there were 2,372 electrical engineering graduates with average earnings and debt of $67,617 and $21,089 respectively. At the doctor’s degree level specifically, there were 149 electrical engineering graduates with average earnings and debt of $76,095 and $123,917 respectively.

This year’s “Best Value EE Schools for a Doctorate in New York” ranking analyzed 11 colleges that offered a degree in electrical engineering. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent electrical engineering programs, but they also cost less that schools of similar quality.
