2022 Best Value English Schools for a Master’s in the New England Region

General English Literature is the 22nd most popular major in the country with 41,945 degrees awarded in 2019-2020. In 2017-2018, general English literature graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $27,525 and had an average of $23,628 in loans still to pay off.
Across the New England region, there were 3,750 general English literature graduates with average earnings and debt of $30,629 and $24,544 respectively. At the master’s degree level specifically, there were 708 general English literature graduates with average earnings and debt of $58,606 and $42,101 respectively.
