2022 Best Value Bachelor’s Degree Colleges for East Asian Languages in the Middle Atlantic Region

In 2019-2020, 2,219 people earned their degree in East Asian languages, making the major the 184th most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, East Asian languages graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $25,569 and had an average of $20,789 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Middle Atlantic region, there were 356 East Asian languages graduates with average earnings and debt of $0 and $22,391 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 219 East Asian languages graduates with average earnings and debt of $39,278 and $24,587 respectively.
For this year’s “Best Value East Asian Schools for a Bachelor’s in the Middle Atlantic Region” ranking, we looked at 17 colleges that offer a degree in East Asian languages. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent East Asian languages programs, but they also cost less that schools of similar quality.
