2022 Best Value Associate Degree Colleges for Heating, Air Conditioning, Ventilation & Refrigeration in the Great Lakes Region

In 2019-2020, 19,871 people earned their degree in heating, air conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration, making the major the 186th most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, heating, air conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $30,328 and had an average of $11,782 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Great Lakes region, there were 2,564 heating, air conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration graduates with average earnings and debt of $29,769 and $11,584 respectively. At the associate degree level specifically, there were 271 heating, air conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration graduates with average earnings and debt of $32,508 and $17,812 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value HVACR Schools for an Associate in the Great Lakes Region” ranking analyzed 18 colleges that offered a degree in heating, air conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great heating, air conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration programs and cost less that schools of similar quality.
