2022 Best Value Bachelor’s Degree Colleges for Health & Physical Education in the Rocky Mountains Region
When it comes to choosing a college, students have a lot of options - but not all of them are good. College Factual has developed its “Best Value Phys Ed Schools for a Bachelor’s in the Rocky Mountains Region” ranking as one item you can use to help make this decision.
In 2019-2020, 64,869 people earned their degree in health and physical education, making the major the 11th most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, health and physical education graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $29,872 and had an average of $24,778 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Rocky Mountains region, there were 2,059 health and physical education graduates with average earnings and debt of $28,147 and $19,220 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 1,777 health and physical education graduates with average earnings and debt of $38,111 and $23,874 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value Phys Ed Schools for a Bachelor’s in the Rocky Mountains Region” ranking analyzed 20 colleges that offered a degree in health and physical education. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent health and physical education programs, but they also cost less that schools of similar quality.
When determining these rankings, we looked at things such as overall quality of the health and physical education program at the school and the cost to attend the school once aid has been awarded. Check out our ranking methodology for more information.

In 2019-2020, this school awarded 179 bachelors’s phys ed degrees to qualified students.
