2022 Best Value Phys Ed Schools for a Bachelor’s
When it comes to choosing a college, students have a lot of options - but not all of them are good. College Factual has developed its “Best Value Phys Ed Schools for a Bachelor’s” ranking as one item you can use to help make this decision.
In 2019-2020, 64,869 people earned their degree in health and physical education, making the major the 11th most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, health and physical education graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $29,872 and had an average of $24,778 in loans still to pay off.
At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 48,748 health and physical education graduates with average earnings and debt of $38,303 and $24,501 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value Phys Ed Schools for a Bachelor’s” ranking looked at 610 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in health and physical education. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality health and physical education programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.
When determining these rankings, we looked at things such as overall quality of the health and physical education program at the school and the cost to attend the school once aid has been awarded. For more information, check out our ranking methodology.
