2022 Best Value Psychology Schools for a Master’s in Florida

In 2019-2020, 134,326 general psychology students received their degree, making the major the 4th most popular in the country. In 2017-2018, general psychology graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $28,999 and had an average of $26,247 in loans still to pay off.
Across Florida, there were 7,346 general psychology graduates with average earnings and debt of $28,054 and $27,266 respectively. At the master’s degree level specifically, there were 263 general psychology graduates with average earnings and debt of $52,589 and $45,697 respectively.
For this year’s “Best Value Psychology Schools for a Master’s in Florida” ranking, we looked at 11 colleges that offer a degree in general psychology. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality general psychology programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.

Out of the 11 schools in the Best Value Psychology Schools for a Master’s in Florida that were part of this year’s ranking, Florida International University landed the #3 spot on the list. FIU is a large public school situated in Miami, Florida. It awarded 61 masters’s psychology degrees in 2019-2020.
