2022 Best Value Associate Degree Colleges for Anthropology
It’s not easy to decide which college to attend when there so many options available for students. Our “Best Value Anthropology Schools for an Associate” ranking is part of that endeavor.
Anthropology is the 71st most popular major in the country with 11,652 degrees awarded in 2019-2020.
At the associate degree level specifically, there were 1,031 anthropology graduates with average earnings and debt of $33,082 and $17,678 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value Anthropology Schools for an Associate” ranking looked at 13 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in anthropology. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great anthropology programs and cost less that schools of similar quality.

CNM is located in Albuquerque, New Mexico and, has a large student population. In 2019-2020, this school awarded 23 associates’s anthropology degrees to qualified students.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Ventura College. It ranked #3 on our 2022 Best Value Anthropology Schools for an Associate list. Located in Ventura, California, this fairly large public school handed out 20 degrees to qualified associates’s anthropology students in 2019-2020.
Ventura College also took the #4 spot in our “Best Anthropology Associate Degree Schools” ranking. The yearly cost to attend Ventura College is $1,514 for Associate Degree Anthropology students.
Out of the 13 schools in the Best Value Anthropology Schools for an Associate that were part of this year’s ranking, Napa Valley College landed the #4 spot on the list.
