In 2019-2020, 3,332 people earned their degree in general agriculture, making the major the 148th most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, general agriculture graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $33,257 and had an average of $20,441 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Southeast region, there were 842 general agriculture graduates with average earnings and debt of $29,044 and $23,732 respectively. At the master’s degree level specifically, there were 93 general agriculture graduates with average earnings and debt of $53,950 and $43,286 respectively.
