2022 Best Value Master’s Degree Colleges for General Agriculture in the Southeast Region

In 2019-2020, 3,332 people earned their degree in general agriculture, making the major the 148th most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, general agriculture graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $33,257 and had an average of $20,441 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Southeast region, there were 842 general agriculture graduates with average earnings and debt of $29,044 and $23,732 respectively. At the master’s degree level specifically, there were 93 general agriculture graduates with average earnings and debt of $53,950 and $43,286 respectively.

This ranking identifies schools with high-quality general agriculture programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.

Tennessee State University is a medium-sized school located in Nashville, Tennessee that handed out 16 masters’s agriculture degrees in 2019-2020.

You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend Virginia Tech. The school came in at #2 for the Best Value Agriculture Schools for a Master’s in the Southeast Region. Virginia Tech is a public institution located in Blacksburg, Virginia. The school has a large population, and it awarded 33 masters’s degrees in 2019-2020.
Virginia Tech also made our “Best General Agriculture Master’s Degree Schools in the Southeast Region” list, coming in at #1. Average graduate tuition and fees at Virginia Tech are $30,547, but some majors have different tuition rates.
You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend North Carolina A & T State University. The school came in at #3 for the Best Value Agriculture Schools for a Master’s in the Southeast Region. Located in Greensboro, North Carolina, this fairly large public school awarded 17 diplomas to qualified masters’s agriculture students in 2019-2020.
NC A&T did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #3 on our “Best General Agriculture Master’s Degree Schools in the Southeast Region” list. Average graduate tuition and fees at North Carolina A & T State University are $20,662, but some majors have different tuition rates.
You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Western Kentucky University. It ranked #4 on our 2022 Best Value Agriculture Schools for a Master’s in the Southeast Region list. WKU is a fairly large school located in Bowling Green, Kentucky that handed out 7 masters’s agriculture degrees in 2019-2020.

Florida A&M University is a public institution located in Tallahassee, Florida. The school has a medium-sized population, and it awarded 7 masters’s degrees in 2019-2020.
