In 2017-2018, hospitality management graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $33,271 and had an average of $21,829 in loans still to pay off.

Across Florida, there were 3,073 hospitality management graduates with average earnings and debt of $33,508 and $21,882 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 1,923 hospitality management graduates with average earnings and debt of $36,173 and $25,318 respectively.

For this year’s “Best Value Hospitality Schools for a Bachelor’s in Florida” ranking, we looked at 14 colleges that offer a degree in hospitality management. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great hospitality management programs and cost less that schools of similar quality.

Florida State is located in Tallahassee, Florida and, has a large student population. In 2019-2020, this school awarded 231 bachelors’s hospitality degrees to qualified students.

Florida State also made our “Best Hospitality Management Bachelor’s Degree Schools in Florida” list, coming in at #1. It costs about $9,789 for Florida Bachelor’s Degree Hospitality students per year to attend Florida State University.

UCF is a large school located in Orlando, Florida that handed out 665 bachelors’s hospitality degrees in 2019-2020.

UCF also made our “Best Hospitality Management Bachelor’s Degree Schools in Florida” list, coming in at #2. It costs about $10,274 for florida bachelor’s degree hospitality students per year to attend UCF.

The student loan default rate at the school is 4.2%, which is quite low when compared to the national default rate of 10.1%. With a freshman retention rate of 92%, the school does an excellent job of retaining its students.

FIU is a large public school situated in Miami, Florida. It awarded 641 bachelors’s hospitality degrees in 2019-2020.
