2022 Best Value Hospitality Schools for a Master’s in Florida

It’s not easy to decide which college to attend when there so many options available for students. In 2019-2020, 17,830 people earned their degree in hospitality management, making the major the 61st most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, hospitality management graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $33,271 and had an average of $21,829 in loans still to pay off.

Across Florida, there were 3,073 hospitality management graduates with average earnings and debt of $33,508 and $21,882 respectively. At the master’s degree level specifically, there were 257 hospitality management graduates with average earnings and debt of $52,589 and $45,697 respectively.

For this year’s “Best Value Hospitality Schools for a Master’s in Florida” ranking, we looked at 3 colleges that offer a degree in hospitality management. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality hospitality management programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.

Orlando, Florida is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out masters’s hospitality degrees to 68 students in 2019-2020.

UCF also took the #1 spot in our “Best Hospitality Management Master’s Degree Schools in Florida” ranking. Average graduate tuition and fees at UCF are $28,657, but some majors have different tuition rates.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Florida International University. It ranked #2 on our 2022 Best Value Hospitality Schools for a Master’s in Florida list. FIU is a public institution located in Miami, Florida. The school has a large population, and it awarded 169 masters’s degrees in 2019-2020.

FIU also made our “Best Hospitality Management Master’s Degree Schools in Florida” list, coming in at #2. Although you might pay more or less depending on your area of study, average graduate tuition and fees at FIU are $24,211.

The school has a large population, and it awarded 8 masters’s degrees in 2019-2020.

As a testament to the quality of education offered at USF Tampa, the school also landed the #3 spot in our “Best Hospitality Management Master’s Degree Schools in Florida” ranking.
