In 2019-2020, 26,616 people earned their degree in human resource management, making the major the 43rd most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, human resource management graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $46,242 and had an average of $34,825 in loans still to pay off.

At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 11,331 human resource management graduates with average earnings and debt of $38,303 and $24,501 respectively.

This year’s “Best Value HR Schools for a Bachelor’s For Those Making $30-$48k” ranking looked at 290 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in human resource management. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great human resource management programs and cost less that schools of similar quality.
