2022 Best Value Bachelor’s Degree Colleges for Information Science in the New England Region

In 2019-2020, 18,368 people earned their degree in information science, making the major the 56th most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, information science graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $58,848 and had an average of $32,600 in loans still to pay off.
Across the New England region, there were 1,017 information science graduates with average earnings and debt of $64,663 and $26,051 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 436 information science graduates with average earnings and debt of $41,041 and $24,492 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value IS Schools for a Bachelor’s in the New England Region” ranking analyzed 11 colleges that offered a degree in information science. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent information science programs, but they also cost less that schools of similar quality.

Out of the 11 schools in the Best Value IS Schools for a Bachelor’s in the New England Region that were part of this year’s ranking, Westfield State University landed the #1 spot on the list.
