Electrical Engineering is the 26th most popular major in the country with 29,892 degrees awarded in 2019-2020.

Across the Southeast region, there were 5,015 electrical engineering graduates with average earnings and debt of $0 and $0 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 3,180 electrical engineering graduates with average earnings and debt of $36,277 and $25,415 respectively.

This year’s “Best Value EE Schools for a Bachelor’s in the Southeast Region” ranking analyzed 66 colleges that offered a degree in electrical engineering. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great electrical engineering programs and cost less that schools of similar quality.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of South Florida - Main Campus. It ranked #1 on our 2022 Best Value EE Schools for a Bachelor’s in the Southeast Region list. University of South Florida - Main Campus is a large school located in Tampa, Florida that handed out 116 bachelors’s EE degrees in 2019-2020.
