2022 Best Value Master’s Degree Colleges for American Sign Language in the Middle Atlantic Region

In 2019-2020, 2,737 people earned their degree in American Sign Language, making the major the 197th most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, American Sign Language graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $30,270 and had an average of $21,733 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Middle Atlantic region, there were 319 American Sign Language graduates with average earnings and debt of $40,400 and $26,507 respectively. At the master’s degree level specifically, there were 47 American Sign Language graduates with average earnings and debt of $60,887 and $46,998 respectively.
Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent American Sign Language programs, but they also cost less that schools of similar quality.

Top 1 Best Value Master’s Degree Colleges for American Sign Language in the Middle Atlantic Region
You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend Gallaudet University. The school came in at #1 for the Best Value ASL Schools for a Master’s in the Middle Atlantic Region. Located in Washington, District of Columbia, this small private not-for-profit school handed out 40 diplomas to qualified masters’s ASL students in 2019-2020.
Gallaudet also took the #1 spot in our “Best American Sign Language Master’s Degree Schools in the Middle Atlantic Region” ranking. Average graduate tuition and fees at Gallaudet University are $18,706, but some majors have different tuition rates.
