2022 Best Value Doctor’s Degree Colleges for Allied Health Professions

In 2019-2020, 81,167 people earned their degree in allied health professions, making the major the 15th most popular in the United States. In 2017-2018, allied health professions graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $49,676 and had an average of $30,684 in loans still to pay off.
At the doctor’s degree level specifically, there were 470 allied health professions graduates with average earnings and debt of $72,680 and $116,043 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value Allied Health Schools for a Doctorate” ranking looked at 10 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in allied health professions. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality allied health professions programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of Lynchburg. It ranked #1 on our 2022 Best Value Allied Health Schools for a Doctorate list. Lynchburg is a small school located in Lynchburg, Virginia that handed out 284 doctorate’s allied health degrees in 2019-2020.

Harrogate, Tennessee is the setting for this small institution of higher learning. The private not-for-profit school handed out doctorate’s allied health degrees to 57 students in 2019-2020.
As a testament to the quality of education offered at LMU, the school also landed the #6 spot in our “Best Allied Health Professions Doctor’s Degree Schools” ranking. You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Indiana State University. It ranked #3 on our 2022 Best Value Allied Health Schools for a Doctorate list. This fairly large school is located in Terre Haute, Indiana, and it awarded 21 doctorate’s allied health degrees in 2019-2020.
