Western Governors University tops the 2021 list of our schools in the Rocky Mountains Region that are best for non-traditional marketing students. Located in the suburb of Salt Lake City, WGU is a private not-for-profit school with a fairly large student population.
About 0.7% of WGU students default on their loans in three years, which is lower than average. There are approximately 150,116 students at WGU and they are all exclusively distance learners.

Brigham Young University - Provo comes in at #2 in this year's ranking. BYU is a very large private not-for-profit school located in the medium-sized city of Provo. BYU also took the #1 spot in our Best Colleges for Marketing in the Rocky Mountains Region rankings.
The school has a low student loan default rate of 0.4%. There are approximately 12,325 students at BYU that take at least one class online. There are roughly 4,504 part time students in attendance at BYU.

Our rankings recognize University of Denver as the #3 school in this year's rankings. Located in the large city of Denver, DU is a private not-for-profit school with a fairly large student population. DU also made our Best Colleges for Marketing in the Rocky Mountains Region list, coming in at #2.
The student loan default rate at DU is lower than is typical, just 0.7% of students default in three years. 3,512 of DU students are exclusively distance learners. 5,249 of DU students are attending part time.

The #4 spot in this year's ranking belongs to University of Utah. Located in the city of Salt Lake City, U of U is a public college with a very large student population. As a testament to the quality of education offered at U of U, the school also landed the #3 rank in our Best Colleges for Marketing in the Rocky Mountains Region ranking.
The student loan default rate at U of U is lower than is typical, just 0.8% of students default in three years. Approximately 19,378 students take at least one class online at U of U. About 7,185 of the students at U of U are attending part time.

Utah State University earned the #5 spot in our 2021 rankings. USU is a very large public school located in the city of Logan. USU also made our Best Colleges for Marketing in the Rocky Mountains Region list, coming in at #4.

The student loan default rate at ISU is lower than is typical, just 1.9% of students default in three years. Approximately 4,680 students take at least one class online at ISU. 5,142 students are part time.

Metropolitan State University of Denver earned the #10 spot in our 2021 rankings. Located in the large city of Denver, MSU Denver is a public college with a fairly large student population.
