Across the Southeast region, there were 2,037 animal science graduates with average earnings and debt of $27,075 and $21,765 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 1,758 animal science graduates with average earnings and debt of $36,277 and $25,415 respectively.

This year’s “Best Value Animal Science Schools for a Bachelor’s in the Southeast Region” ranking analyzed 20 colleges that offered a degree in animal science. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality animal science programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.

To come up with these rankings, we looked at factors such as the cost to attend the school after aid is awarded and overall quality of the animal science program at the school. Check out our ranking methodology for more information.
