General Business/Commerce is the 13th most popular major in the country with 55,749 degrees awarded in 2019-2020. In 2017-2018, general business/commerce graduates who were awarded their degree in 2015-2017, earned an average of $40,821 and had an average of $25,596 in loans still to pay off.
At the associate degree level specifically, there were 17,132 general business/commerce graduates with average earnings and debt of $33,082 and $17,678 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value General Business Schools for an Associate For Those Getting Aid” ranking looked at 285 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in general business/commerce.
